We know you’re committed to a green business model – and we know you’re committed to a protecting the planet for the generations to come. Together, we can reduce our environmental footprint by working in tandem to reduce waste, increase recycling efforts, lower fossil fuel usage, and help eliminate pollution.
There is no one shade of green that’s best for everyone. We’re inspired by your efforts – and we hope we can inspire you. As insurance professionals we are focused on the overal protection of our clients and the risks that they face. However, at SteelBridge we don’t think that’s enough. Our Go Green, Stay Green! business initiative was created from the desire to take protection one step further. To that end here are just some of the sustainable solutions we pursue to care for the earth:
- Maintain carbon neutrality by purchasing carbon offset credits
- Reduce dependency on oil by purchasing renewable energy credits (i.e. wind power)
- Work in a 100% paperless environment in order to reduce pollution and landfill waste
- Recycle all paper, plastic, and other materials that we can
- Use only chlorine-free recycled paper in our printers and refill our ink cartridges
- All of our printed materials use Forest Stewardship Counsel-approved paper and soy-based inks
- Work to partner only with vendor who shares our commitment to the environment
- Discourage the use of plastic bottles, plastic bags, etc. among our employees
- Encourage ride-sharing and alternative modes of transportation
